Straw Shredders
WeiDong 1865-series straw shredders cut and shred rice straw, wheat straw, corn stalks, reeds and similar crop residue for bedding, compost, briquetting or boiler fuel. The WDS1865 is diesel-driven for farms without grid power; the WDSE1865 is electric for fixed farms, pellet plants and biomass facilities.

What can the straw shredder process?
The WDS1865 and WDSE1865 process rice straw, wheat straw, corn stalks, reeds and similar crop residue. Wet or compacted material, soil, stone, metal and wood pieces outside the confirmed application should be reviewed first.
Can a straw shredder replace a wood grinder?
No. The 1865 series is a straw-focused machine. Heavy logs, roots or construction wood need a tub grinder or horizontal grinder.
Diesel or electric straw shredder?
Choose the WDS1865 (diesel) for mobile work or yards without industrial power, and the WDSE1865 (electric) when straw is processed repeatedly at one powered location. Electric drive removes the diesel engine but not dust, fire or ventilation requirements.
What is the capacity of the straw shredder?
