All 3600-series tub grinders use the same grinding platform. The choice is between diesel or electric drive and the chassis that suits how often and how far the machine moves.

How a WeiDong tub grinder is configured

Crushing system. The knife-roller assembly is suited to tree roots, branches, bark and straw and gives a more defined chip. The hammer-roller assembly is suited to formwork, demolition material, bark and mixed biomass, where impact resistance and tolerance of contamination matter most. Both are available on every 3600 model, and a replacement knife-roller assembly WDP-KR3600 can be fitted as a one-piece swap.

Screen. The main screen opening sets the finished particle size and the balance between size and throughput. Screens are selected for the downstream use: mulch, compost bulking agent, boiler fuel or volume reduction.

Workbench. The tub workbench turns over 90° for clearing material and for maintenance access.

Power. Diesel suits forestry, land-clearing and remote sites; the engine brand is chosen to match local parts support. Electric suits fixed yards and continuous production where grid power is available, with lower operating noise and simpler daily service.

Mobility. The WD3600C crawler has a remote-controlled, self-propelled undercarriage for frequent movement inside the work site; the electric WDE3600C uses the same crawler layout. The semi-trailer models can be towed between sites; road registration depends on the final specification and local rules.

Options. Discharge conveyor arrangement, magnetic separation, remote control, dust control and other auxiliary equipment are matched to the complete production line.

When a horizontal grinder fits better

A tub grinder accepts bulky, irregular material through an open tub, which makes it the stronger starting point for stumps, root balls and mixed piles. Long logs, whole trees and dimensional wood often feed more consistently through the controlled infeed of a horizontal grinder.
