Applications
WeiDong grinders and chippers reduce forestry residue, bark, slabs, clean waste wood and straw into fuel for boilers, power plants and pellet mills. The WD3600 tub grinder handles bulky mixed feed at a typical 25–40 t/h; the WD1690 horizontal grinder gives a more controlled particle size from long wood.
The boiler or pellet plant sets particle size, fines, moisture and contamination limits; screen opening and rotor type are chosen to meet that acceptance rule.
Soil, stone and metal raise wear and fire risk. Receiving inspection, quarantine areas and magnetic separation are planned with the grinder.
Fixed fuel yards often run long shifts; electric skid-mount models (WDE3600M, WDE1690M) suit sites with grid power.
Compare fuel or electricity, wear parts, loader time and rejects per tonne of accepted fuel, not engine size or brochure capacity.
Biomass fuel is defined by its receiver. Start from the boiler or pellet plant acceptance specification, then choose the machine, rotor and screen that produce it reliably from the material you actually have.

For bulky, mixed residue choose a 3600-series tub grinder; for long wood and whole trees where a tighter particle size matters choose a WD1690 horizontal grinder; for clean branches a WD1100 chipper produces chips. The final choice follows the fuel specification and a material review.
A grinder prepares the first-stage size reduction. Pellet mills usually need further drying and hammer-milling, so the grinder output size is set to suit that next step.
